There’s just something about being on a boat in the bayou before dawn that’s terrifying and beautiful. The distant screeching of birds that have you questioning if they’re worldly or not. The eerie feeling that crawls up your spine when the frogs hush down and crickets stop chirping. All you hear is the trees bending in the breeze and the water lapping at the boat. So freaking gorgeous but also so scary!!
